The History of Ducharme

The first official Okanagan landscape project was completed in August of 2002. We received our first Okanagan landscape award that same year.

While owner Robert Ducharme has been involved in the construction industry for 20 years, the Ducharme name has been a recognizable force in the construction industry for over 50 years. Ducharme Landscapes is a branch of the Ducharme Group.

Roger Ducharme originally kicked off our rich family history in construction with a family excavations company called Roger's construction. This evolved into the development of over 2,500 residential homes, 2 hospitals, excavation projects all over B.C., project management, framing crews, Ducharme Designworks, finishing carpenters, plumbing, Ducharme Landscapes and a family owned Fogg n Suds restaurant in Westbank B.C.

We have developed some tremendous working relations since our start with some highly respected Okanagan gardners and professionals. Our customer base has become enormous and gets larger every year. We have served over 500 residential and commercial customers in the area since our start, opened a head office in kelowna, a works yard in Westbank, and put a solid fleet of trucks and machinery on the road to properly serve as many deserving customers as we can.
